About JNVST :
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti is going to Conduct the JNVST 2020 – 2021 to Take admission in Class IX in Jawahar Navodaya Schools in India. Admissions in JNVs are made through the JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA SELECTION TEST (JNVST) at Class IX. The Application Form is Submitted for the Admission from Till 10th December 2019. About Exam :
Candidates filled the Application form successful and now they are waiting for there exam. The Lateral Entry Test of Class 9th (IX) will be held soon on the date 08th February 2020. Centre for examination shall be in the JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA of the district concerned.
Candidates are applying for the admission in Navodaya Vidyalaya 9th Class by Lateral Entry Exam. Soon the exam will be conducted. So the Candidates are worried about there exam because in today’s time it is not easy to clear a exam. So here we are solving that problem. Here we are going to share the exam pattern and Syllabus. Candidates can study that syllabus and easily clear that exam.
Exam Pattern : The Exam pattern of LET of Class IX is as follows:
  • The Exam will be objective type.
  • The Question paper will be of 100 marks.
  • The Time Duration of exam will be 2 1/2 Hours.

Exam Syllabus : The exam syllabus of LET for 9th class is as follows:
English : Comprehension (Unseen Passage), Word and Sentence Structure, Spelling, Rearranging jumbled words, Passivation, Use of degrees of comparison, Modal auxiliaries, Use of prepositions, Tense forms, Reported speech etc.
Hindi : हिंदी वर्णमाला, विराम चिन्ह, शब्द रचना, वाक्य रचना, अर्थ, शब्द-रूप, संधि, समास, क्रियाएँ, अनेकार्थी शब्द, विलोम शब्द, पर्यायवाची शब्द, मुहावरे एवं लोकोक्तियाँ, देशज, विदेशी (शब्द भंडार), वर्तनी, अर्थबोध, हिंदी भाषा के प्रयोग में होने वाली अशुद्धियाँ.
Math : Rational Numbers, Squares and Square Roots, Cubes and Cube Roots, Exponents and Powers, Direct and Inverse Proportions, Comparing Quantities (Percentage, Profit and Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest.), Algebraic Expressions and Identities including Factorization, Linear Equations in One Variable, Understanding Quadrilaterals (Parallelogram, rhombus, rectangle, square, kite), Mensuration: a) Area of plane figures, b) Surface area and volume of cube, cuboid and cylinder, Data Handling (Bargraph, pie chart, organizing data, probability).
